January 3rd – The Duende Project (lite)

Hello 7 Hills Faithful! As always, we have a great show for you on the 1st Sunday in January! This month our feature will be Tony Brown and Steven Lanning-Cafaro. These two men are a part of a GREAT poetry/musical group called the Duende Project.

The Duende Project (formerly “Duende”) is the poetry and music project of Tony Brown, veteran performance poet; Steve Lanning-Cafaro, AKA Faro, electric bass and Nylon string guitar; Chris Lawton on electric guitar, and Chris O”Donnell, drums. They’ve released 5 CD/chapbook sets, Jim’s Fall, americanized, The Duende Project, One Thing That Scares You, and most recently, Basement Takes on their own Loyal Weasel Productions; they perform in the New England and Eastern Seaboard regions regularly.

This is a Must See show!

As always the Illustrious DJ MUSE will be on the 1’s and 2’s, spinning everything you ever loved, will love, and forgot you loved.  Open mic & slam (4th qualifier tonight!) lists go up at 7 and the show starts at 7:30. NO COVER but we do have a 5$ suggested donation (however, we turn no one away). COME EARLY STAY LATE – food and drink (if of proper age with proper ID) is served. Meet people, catch up with people you have already met and EVERYTHING in between!
